New names to be placed on the Board of Honor of UEC-Perm Engines

At UEC-Perm Engines (part of Rostec United Engine Corporation) thirty employees were solemnly awarded certificates of inclusion on the plant's Board of Honor.

“The good tradition, which has been established over several decades, acquires even greater value nowadays: it highlights respect for the working man, is a recognition of the great contribution of each best performer to the creation of modern aviation and industrial gas turbine engines,” said Sergey Kharin, Executive Director of UEC-Perm Engines.

Stalina Yarusova, construction metalworker of the 5th grade, has been working in the stamping and mechanical shop of the plant for 39 years and today has the highest output in the shop – 172 percent. Stalina Yarusova has mastered production of more than 50 items of pipelines, understands drawings and technologies, teaches young workers.

Galina Zagafranova has 50 years of continuous employment. Having started working at the plant as a design engineer, forty years ago, she moved to the newly established foundry shop. High responsibility helped Galina Zagafranova successfully work as a senior foreman of the heat treatment stump section. All these years she pays special attention to the improvement of casting quality and plan fulfilling.

Young workers of the plant do not fall behind their older comrades and also achieve high performance of their work. Mikhail Korinfeld, 35-year-old milling machine operator of 4th grade at the mechanical shop, performs shift and daily tasks by 130-150 percent without defects and returns, and has successfully mastered the related profession of a grinder. Today, Mikhail Korinfeld is entrusted with self-control work – this is a recognition of the worker’s high skills.

Today, more than 11,500 people work at UEC-Perm Engines. Last year, 160 employees of the plant were honored with the state and departmental awards.
